I only gave you a diagram of the fuses in the power distribution box located in the engine compartment because there are no fuses relating to the 4 wheel drive in the passenger compartment fuse panel. I only see 1 fuse for the 4 wheel drive and that is the fuse in the number 17 position. That is for the transfer case shift motor (see picture of fuse layout below) Now there are 2 relays for the "shift on the fly". thoses relays are located in the number 40 & 41 positions in that same panel. this should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you do not and would like a copy, You can email me at [email protected] with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. No worries there will be no cost for it. I hope this helps you and good luck.

I have an 83 ford f 350 back lights and park lights and dash lights wont come on what could be the problem

Check the fuses for the parking lights and the backup lights:

Fuses Fig. 1: View of the fuse box located under the hood release lever, 1983 F-150 shown 85766098.jpg
Fig. 2: Unsnap the cover to access the fuse box, 1983 F-150 shown 85766099.jpg
On earlier models, the fuse panel is located on the firewall above the driver's left foot. On later models, the fuse panel is located on the underside of the instrument panel, covered with an access door. prev.gif next.gif

4 wheel drive does not work and the four wheel drive lights flash when you try to put it in four wheel drive. i have tried to replace the four wheel drive switch and it does the same thing.

There is a four wheel drive relay unit located up under your dashboard on the passenger's side that has gone bad. 2 bolts hold it in, and just a wire bundle connector to plug into. Costly to replace. Maybe about $200 just for the 4 WD relay unit.

Four win stuck up for Mazda 2001. fuse is working

I have a 2000 Mazda MPV where the same thing just happened. Unfortunately it came back for a second, and my wife pushed one down. I took it to a glass shop, and found that the driver side power window switch was bad. It runs about $178.00 at the dealership. It takes about 2-3 days to order. Unfortunately not even the import places carry it. I did find a few used on Ebay for about $50-$70.

4 Wheel drive won't kick in on my 2001 Ford 350 4 wheel drive

do check the fuse, should be located in the fuse box in the engine compartement, refer to your owner's manual as to where this fuse is located, if the fuse is good, check the electrical connections on the transfer case, if that's good, check the oil in the transfer case to do so, towards the back of the transfer case there are two big looking bolts placed in diagonal to eachother one higher than the other, on the higher one loosen and unscrew if oil ouses out its good or by sticking your little finger in the hole and you can touch the oil it's good.... if all that is good check for a kinked vacuum hose on the battery side up against the firewall it should be a green tube and a red tube, if thats good, the last thing to check is the fork system on the front diff I've often seen them seized, fortunately I've been lucky to have unseize them with loose nut and lubrication...

goodluck
