Remove the rubber boot near the door hinges an make sure no wires are about to break or aren't already broken (on all 4 doors, yes, all 4) Could be the switch itself, either bad or dirty.

Right rear window does not work

All power originates/passes through the master control switch on the drivers door panel. Start by popping the drivers switch and with key on check power going to & through the master switch especially the switch that raises/lowers the window in question. Surely you've done checked the fuses and or relays? Hope this helps.

I have a 2001 Saab 9-3 convertible that has a problem with both of the rear side windows not working and also main swithch that controls front and back not working for two rear side windows. Both front...

Bruce, ur best bet would be to replace the main control switch. change that switch and most likely all will be good. find urself a used main control (window) switch in the front or between front seats. buying used will be a hard find but still u will save money on that.

I hope this work out for u.

Power windows on 2000 cherokee not working

I had the same problem. The panel had cold solder joints on it, and I was able to simply re-solder those points. It fixed the whole thing. I had 3 out of four windows not working. These switches are in a logical " OR" configuration, meaning that either the driver , "OR" the passenger can open the passenger window. So if none of the switches work in the whole vehicle , it's probably a fuse issue. If it's just the driver's panel , I suspect it is a used panel and needs the resoldering that I told you about.

Master switch does not control back windows

I'm assuming the front windows work. There is a power-cut switch in the power window main switch circuit which works in conjunction with an unidentified relay to "kiddie-proof" the rear windows. That is likely to be the source of the problem.

I want to remove passenger side rear door panel because window is down and won't stay up

Hi,
Hi!!

Here is a little information on how window regulator works. Also step by step instruccions on how to remove and install the window glass.

Door Glass & Regulator Power Windows
Diagnosis & Testing
When the rear window lockout feature is enabled, the circuit is open and no voltage is supplied to the rear window switches. When the feature is not enabled, the circuit is connected to battery positive voltage. If this circuit is shorted to ground when the lockout feature is not enabled, the PWR WDO circuit breaker may cycle continuously OFF/ON until, either the lockout switch is pressed to open the circuit, or the circuit breaker is permanently damaged. All windows may be partially or totally inoperative while the fault is present.
Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the system. Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom. Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions.
Removal & Installation
Window Motor & Regulator
  1. Position window approximately half way down in the door.
  2. Remove the interior trim panel.
  3. Remove the water deflector.
  4. Tape the window to door frame to prevent it from moving.
  5. Remove the three front door window regulator motor screws.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor.
  7. Remove front side door window regulator motor.
  8. To install, reverse removal procedure.

Window Switch
Front
  1. Remove the front door pull cup screws and pull cup from the front door trim panel.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the front door power window control switch.
  3. Remove the front door window control switch using a small, flat-bladed tool at the side of the switch.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure.

Rear
  1. Remove the rear door pull cup from the rear door trim panel.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the power window control switch.
  3. Remove the rear door window control switch from the pull cup using a small, flat-bladed tool at the side of the power window control switch to release the power window control switch retainer.
  4. Remove the power window control switch from the rear door pull cup.
  5. To install, reverse removal procedure.

The driver side window on my 2001 Passat won't roll up.

Pop out the switch on the door that has the issue, more than likely switch has gone bad and needs to be replaced. you will need to check it with a meter to see if power is getting to the switch and also to check when switch is activated if power goes through switch

Power Windows

It sounds like the MAIN SWITCH on the driver's side "master power window control panel" is OFF or defective.

Divers window won't roll up my Camry

No won't be fuse. My guess is there is something faulty with the main controller. You could probably verify this by trying the switch on right rear passenger door. If it works there then the problem is at the main controller in the driver door. Could be a loose wire or the switch itself is broken.
