SOUNDS LIKE THE FUSE BURNT OPEN IN THE OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION RELAY.LOOK FOR A RELAY THAT IS RED ON TOP AND HAS A 10 AMP FUSE PLUGGED IN THE TOP.CAN'T
TELL YOU EXACT LOCATION WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT MODEL YOUR MERCEDES BENZ IS.

How to reset abs light on 1992 300e mercedes. My car was parked on the street. One day when I started it

In all of the other forums the mechanics talk about replacing or checking the fuses on the OVP which is the Over Voltage Protection Relay located on the right side of the engine compartment behind the battery. That might be a good place to start checking.

1992 mercedes 600sel want to know where over voltage protection relay is located as i have an asr/abs problem with engine in limp mode

Behind your battery, there is a plastic cover. Remove this plastic, you will see the big Unit, ECU and 3 little square relays. one is for Fuel relay, one is for OPV, and one is for AC module. They all have labels. Good luck.

ABS--BAS

Most likely cause is the 'stop lamp switch'
It is a electric switch located on the brake pedal inside the car, about half way up on the brake pedal.
Pretty cheap too, I think the switch is only like $25 bucks.
2 connectors on the switch and then it turns out.
hope that helps
Fan relay should be in black box near frewall

Canyou tell me where the headlamp relay is located mercedes benz s430 year 2000

itis in one of the front sams(fuse boxes). I believe your fuse schematic is located in the l side of the dash-open door ad on the corner there is a plastic cover. pop it out with screw driver and you should see your fuse and relay grid folded in a square. If it is not there it should be in your tool kit in the trunk.

ABS LIGHT PERMANENTLY ON MERC E CLASS 1992

hello i;m an m.b. tech. and if that is all that happened your really lucky. on the straight six e class there is an over voltage rely that powers up the a.b.s. module as well as the c.i.s. and idle speed modules. usually if that relay is defective the idle is high and the a.b.s. light is on. the relay is located behind the battery in the engine compartment. there is a plastic cover that just pulls out behind the battery and it is a silver rely with a red lid and a 10 amp fuse. most likely the 10 amp fuse is blown. try replacing the fuse and see if the light goes out. if not replace the overvoltage relay.

Lift the hood. Just below the screen, opposite side from battery, you'll see a plastic cover shielding the engine management, abs control box etc. If you search around there after removing the shield/ cover you will find a relay with a fuse plugged into the top of it. This is the pump / system relay.
