Buick rendezvous electrical problem

When I start the wipers, the fuse for the inside electrical outlet (#32, 20A) burn every time. As long as I don't start the wiper, outlet are fine, rain or not (so it's not some water infiltration problem). Also following first time it happened, i lost cruise control, and then came back alone. Another time after that, lost cruise again, cheched the fuse and was burned so i changed it and was fine. Happened again, fuse is not dead, and changing fuse don't solve the problem. Any ideas on my 2 problems (wipers/outlet + Cruise). Are probably related. Other than that, nothing electrical is off. Thanks.

its probably just grounded wires.. check your car's wiring.. if you can't do that yourself. Have an electrician/mechanic check it for you..

SOURCE: Toyota 4runner gate window, wiper, and keyless entry not working

make sure the back window is all the way up then try the wiper, if it still does not work then it is a sensor for the rear window (about $30.00) if you installed it yourself

Actually, there is no external relay only a 25 amp fuse located in the center console fuse block, up front.
Good luck.

2002 buick rendezvous both electric seats quit working fuses OK switches work and lights come on. I am mechanical but if anyone has had the same issues I may save a bunch of time looking.

Lights come on? Are you talking about the seat heaters? If so, the heating elements may be burned out.

Check the circuits at the element connectors. If there is power and ground at the element connectors under the seat, then the elements are burned out.

Other than that, I would recommend scanning your Body Control Module for fault codes.

2003 buick rendezvous power outlets

Fuse #14 is for REAR auxillary power  outlet (in cargo area).  This is located in the INSIDE fuse box to the left of and under the glovebox (to the left of the front passenger's feet).
Fuse #32 is for FRONT Power Outlets/cigarette lighter//Lights, OnStar®  Fuse 32 is under the hood in the ENGINE AREA fuse box located in the compartment  just above the battery.DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MANUAL to make sure that your fuses are the same.  I have a 2003 Rendezvous. Your newer model may be different.  The diagrams for each fuse box can be found inside the lids of the compartments.
