Question about 2001 Buick Regal
Where do I find more information on where the temp. door is and how to replace. I have tested the temperature control and it works fine.

O.K., there are two things that can cause this problem. The first, and most common is the control head itself. The other is the temp. door on the drivers side may not be closing all the way, which would mean that there is a problem with the actuator that controls that door. The only problem with both of these is that the only way you can test either of them is with a computer.
I have seen both of these cause a problem, but have seen the control head fix about 7 out of 10 times. If you just wanted to try something I would say replace the control head. If it turns out that the actuator is bad, then the whole dash will have to be removed to rapair.
