The firing order on all four cylinder engines is 1.3.4.2. and number one cylinder is at the opposite end of the engine to the gearbox, at the end with the belts and pulleys.

Daewoo tacuma Just changed my spark plugs and HT leads now enging runs rough and stalls on idle

CHECK YOU FIRING ORDER, YOU MIXED THE IGNITION WIRES, IF IT IS A 4 CYL, FIRST CYLINDER #1 IS NEAR THE BELTS, CHECK COIL WIRES FOR NUMBERS, OR DISTRIBUTOR CAP FOR CYLINDER NUMBER OR COIL PACK FOR CYL #, AND FOLLOW THE WIRES TO THE SPARK PLUGS. MAKE SURE THEY ARE RIGHT, NEXT TIME DO ONE PLUG AND ONE WIRE AT THE TIME.

Next step would be to check the compression in that cylinder and compare it to the others.

All you need to know is how many cylinders early have 4 cyl and firing order is 1342 and No 1 is where water pump is ans any lead HT the correct will do If 6 cylinder then its 153624 firing order and still 1 is the nearest one to the water pump

Need the firing order for 1999 Chevy S-10 4 Cyl 2.2L

I believe it firing order is 1-4-2-3 (where cyclinder #1 is the closest to the fire wall) and your distributer has the plug wires running almost vertically.

1st cylinder = the very bottom
4th cylinder = second from the bottom
2nd cylinder = second from the top
3rd cylinder = the top connection on the distributer.

I hope this helps and good luck

Spark plug firing order

check the ignition coil power source...get a test light & check for power with the key on @ the positive side of the coil...if it does have power have a friend crank the engine over & check the negative side for a flashing light..if it does then make sure you have spark @ the coil if not replace the coil
