Start car. Disconnect positive terminal/ red cable if cars dies u know its your alternator.

Check the wires that rund to your starter make sure all of them is connected specially the single wire that serves a s a remote to your starter..

before i start....it is def not the alternator. the only job a alternator has it a car is to charge the battery when the engine is started it generates power for lights etc!!! by not starting does the engin turn atal? if the engin does not turn i would check the starter motor!! if the engine is turning i would check to see if there is a spark!! take a plug lead of and put a spark plug into it and turn the engine!! if there is no spark..then the distributor is gone!! if there is a spark them check your fuel pump!! disconnect fuel pipe and turn engine and if no fuel comes out it gone either!
