Has any engine light came on your dashboard at all ? IF so please take it to a Advance Auto Parts store so they can check any codes for free or at no cost to you. Have you checked to see if there is enough oil in the engine plus check to see if your transmission has enough fluids as well. Every engine runs hot because when your injectors lets gasoline into each piston chambers and compresses the fuel so when the spark plugs sparks the fuel will cause a very strong hot flame. So every car engines runs hot so does your temperature gage in your dash board shows what ? Let us know because we are not there to check it ourselves.

Did you have red antifreeze prior to the flushing? Ford engines are generally aluminium and should be using blue antifreeze which is suitable for aluminium engine blocks! I think the antifreeze is reacting to the aluminium.....re flush and use blue!

Hi Justin, Just seen the other part of your question and suggest you have a defective water pump the alternative being a cracked cylinder head or block. I think if you get the engine warmed up to operating temperature and observe the water pump you'll see the leakage. DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS ANYWHERE NEAR A HOT OR RUNNING ENGINE! Let me know if my guess is correct...Please. Regards John

I put a new thermostat in my 07 still running hot

water pump faulty, low on coolent, could be temp sensor faulty too if it reads hot all the time, even when you know its cold (like first thing in the morning) loose belt on waterpump, clogged coolent system, maybe it needs flushed.

I have taking thermstat out, flushed the engine ,flushed the radiator and it still gets hot

The water pump has gone out. With car cold, remove the radiator cap, start the car and rev up the motor, while watching the water in the radiator. If the water does not lower when reved up, replace the water pump and it will run as it should.

Please let us know if you are pleased with my diagnoses,

Thank You,
