Question about 1992 Dodge Stealth
I have a problem i let this car sit for six months and when i went to start it it started right up then started mising backfiring and died wouldnt start again,,,found that only one of the three coils was firing?ans somtimes it starts right up runs fine but within minutes it starts backfiring and loses spark on the front two coils ther are three coils that have two plug wires each,,every few times they start working again...only to drop off and quit firing..when it wont start it only has spark on one of the coils,,what do you think it could be???please help
Check your grounds guys...if even ONE ground is loose or corroded from the block, she'll act up...especially more when warm. Another good place to check is under your console (behind radio), this is where your main ground actually connects (weird yes) but we've rebuilt a stealth and had this problem....turned out to be the ground on the metal chassis behind the radio.
