We bought both the power transistor and distributor. We were told we couldn't purchase the distributor module. Changed power transitor after warming old one with hair dry and causing the failure. Car running fine. Returned un-used distributor.

Likely a gas or spark problem. Spray starting fluid into the air intake while cranking it. If it then runs for a few seconds, it's a fuel problem-maybe the fuel pump, filter, or injector circuit. Check if gas is getting up to the engine.
Buy an inexpensive "spark tester" at a parts store, and check for spark- if no spark, the ignition circuit will need diagnosed- could be the ignition coil, maybe the electronic ignition module-several possibi9lities. Let me know what you find, or if other questions..

Just turns off on it's own, Wait 60 sec. restart press pedel it dies.

This engine is electronically controlled so the first thing that must be done here is to have the systems control computer tested for fault codes and then do the proper diagnostics based on those codes.

Have you check the fuel filter?
Is there any spark on the spark plug cable? If there isn't any spark, you might check the ignition coil and ECU

Car had ignition coil replaced for 2nd time in a year

The crank sensor is causing the car to die. When it gets hot the resistance builds up and it will not read the crank signal. Then the car will die. When it cool the sensor will read again. You wont get spark if the crank sensor is not reading the ecm doesnt see the signal and will not allow the coil to fire.
