Question about 2004 Saab 9-3
Ok- i just fixed my problem. took about 5 mins and zero dollars. underneath the drivers seat is the amplifier. mine was fine, just unplugged. so i plugged it in- all is ok/.
i thought of this after I read a few of the posts, and remembered that it stopped working suddenly ne day when i went over a huge bump in the road. my initial thought was that i jarred something loose on the radio itself, but EVERYTHING else worked except the sound, and the display for the radio.
give it a try. Saab wanted $159 just to LOOK at the car, and a car radio guy said they needed to send out the whole console (radio, onstar, cd player)
save a few bucks- small hands preferred, as the amp is placed in an awkward position under the seat. also, there is a spot to secure it to the frame (floor) of the car- a simple screw... my screw was conveniently missing... hmmmm..
