Both fuses are good, could it be a burnt out bulb? If so, where is the bulb located?

    Thanks,

When I turn the dimmer switch all the way on, the dome light comes on but that's it. None of the dash lights up, so am I safe to assume it's the dimmer switch?

You will have a gauges fuse that is 10amp. and a ctsy fuse that is 20 amp they run off one of those. if all lights work other thann interior lights try sliding dimmer back and forth several times this can help with corrosion on it

you have several bulbs in the instrument panel.I assume your lights for the speedo and gauges arent working.if just one section doesnt work then it is a bulb.I would suspect the instrument dimmer switch.if the whole thing is out.like i said if you move this back and worth several times you might see the lights flicker on and this will tell you it is the problem

the dimmer switch would be most probable cause if all fuses are good. it is best to check the fuses with a test light, and check all fuses to be sure we didnt overlook one. if you have done that then yes i would say dimmer switch

2000 Lexus LS400 Instrument panel fuse

It's more likely a fuse is blown, the tail lights are on the same fuse as the dash illumination, check the tail lights if they are not working replace the fuse marked 'tail' in the fuse panel on the inside at the left side of the dash under the cover. At the same time check the 'gauge' fuse', there is a fuse location diagram on the cover.

Which fuse is for the dash lights

Your dash light fuse is usually labeled instrument lights or inst. lts. on your fuse panel cover . It is important to note that the instrument light fuse is fed by the brake light fuse . So , make sure your brake lights are working properly first . If your brake light fuse is blown , your instrument lights will not work .

Inside panel does not light up.Which fuse do I replace and the location. I have the fuse box diagram, but I don't know how to read it.

I’m assuming that you are talking about your instrument panel lights.
First, make sure and check the dial on the dashboard to the left of the instrument panel. It controls the brightness of the instrument panel lights. Turn the dial to adjust the brightness. If it accidently got turned all the way down, you will have no instrument lights.
If that isn’t the problem, the interior fuse box is underneath the dashboard on the driver's side. Remove the fuse box lid by swinging the lid down and pulling it straight out of its hinges.
Fuse number 30 (7.5 amp) controls your instrument lights.
Hope this helps you.

The instrument panel fuse panel is underneath the instrument panel on the left side. To open it, reach under the instrument panel and push the release button to the right of the fuse panel.
