Yes, the 2006 has the fog light switch on the headlight switch which is also the turn signal switch, another way is to install a fog light switch, this will not be as the factory setup which works off the headlight switch but will save some money.
MY PROBLEM IS FINDING A STOCK FUEL DOOR FOR A 2008 NISSAN FRONTIER KING CAB,IT WONT STAY SHUT !! ONE WOULD THINK WITH ALL THE WEB SITES THIS WOULD BE EASY...NOT SO,ALL I NEED IS THE HINGE BUT THAT MUST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND,PLEASE HELP ME,PLEASE
There may be a connection in the harness or a place to connect the cabling, but what you'll find out is that the light switch is different for the trucks that have fog lights from the factory. They have a pull-to-activate function for the fog lights and an indicator led on the switch that shows the fogs are illuminated. I would suggest purchasing an aftermarket fog lamp kit with the entire package...switch, wires, relay etc..cheaper in the long run... not too hard to wire on these either...the toughest part is feeding a wire thru the firewall... but even that's not too difficult. Hope this helps...
If your king cab was not factory equipt with jump seats, the best option for you would be to purchase 'aftermarket' jump seats that do not require trim panel changes. The factory jump seats folded up into the sides of the truck and thus would take a lot more work and money to install than aftermarket alternatives. To install the aftermarket seats, you will merely need to bolt them to the floor, and your truck already has threaded holes under the carpet in the back.
Sounds good to me except, the switch light shout be on the relay primary circiut and light off until you turn it on. When you turn the switch on, it lights up and energizes the relay, the relay closes and completes the secondary circiut for ythe fog lights. VIOLA' I have a silverado. done deal thanks
