I left my 2003 dodge stratus with relatives while in Japan for three years. I recently got the car back and the radio wont work, the side mirror adjuster will not work, and I must use the key to open the trunk, instead of using the trunk button inside the car. I believe the car my have been broken into. I tried switching the radio, but the other radio wouldnt work either. Ive checked the fuses and their good. what can I do?

All the things you described also have a full time power supply. You need to check the inline fuse(s). What makes you believe the car may have been broken into? If that's the case you might want to check for cut wires under the dash.

I am looking for a fuse box diagram to a 2003 dodge stratus! I jump started my battery and the cables were backwards. After i did that the radio or the locks aint working. I believe i blew a couple fuses!

2003 dodge stratus, plug relay into a/c fuse and the other 2nd end into the other slot. it works fine, but i have to take it out or it will drain my car battery. Is the 2nd end setup correctly?

Replacing passenger side-view mirror on 1999 Dodge Stratus

Watched my dad do it this afternoon. There is an exposed screw on the left side of the door panel and one at the bottom of the panel. There are also two hidden screws, one behind the door handle and one inside the little hole in the armrest (pop off the plastic plugs). There are also three recessed screws behind the speaker cover. You can pop the speaker cover off with a flathead screwdriver. I'm pretty sure thats all of them. You can pop the panel off then, but watch the wires connecting stuff inside. The hardest part is getting it over the door lock. .

Once the panel is loose you have to pop off the black plastic cover hiding the back of the mirror. There are three recessed bolts holding the mirror. My dad had to get a special wrench to get those off and he dropped one inside the door, so be careful (we fastened a magnet to a coat hanger and got it back). Mine had some remote gizmos, so he had to had to unplug the little square thing and then popped off what was left of the old mirror. If your new mirror has a wire with a little box, feed it through the hole and plug it in. Once you have it positioned correctly, you can screw on the bolts and put eveything back together. It helps to have another person there while you are trying to position the mirror correctly. Hope I didn't miss anything. Good luck!

2002 Dodge Stratus, Start Problem/ Electrical?

First thing I would do, is remove, clean, inspect & tighten all battery connections including & especially the other end of my negative connection. Also any connections to a power distribution box, that is usually found near the battery. In your explanation, you say when it does start, everything works normal, does that include radio & clock?
