My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee keeps stalling. I noticed yesterday on my way home it felt like it was struggling and shaky like it wanted to stall. Then this morning as I'm driving for a few minutes, it started dying and just stalled. I was able to get it started to get me back home, but not sure what's wrong. HELP!

Run the fault codes
could be faulty injectors / low fuel pressure or it could be failing crank/cam shaft position sensors

SOURCE: 2000 jeep cherokee starts then stalls in approx 3 sec 4.0 has new crank sensor

I am going to assume that it will not run even if you push on the accelerator pedal?
Can you install or attach an old timing light to the spark plug wires, turn it one and try to start it. The light should flash with the engine running, but if it shuts off at time of engine die, and the engine is still spinning, you are losing spark, My suggestion is the cranks shaft sensor on bell housing.
Second, install a pressure gage on the test port on the fuel rail and watch it as you start the engine, fuel pressure should not drop as the engine dies, if it does, the pump is not working correctly. There are two modes of power to that pump, one to start and timed, for only a few seconds to prime the system, and one to run continuously. Find the wires going to the pump at the tank. Connect test light to those wires and watch what happens during crank and at stall, You should not have the pump shut off and the engine dies.
If you have spark, and fuel pump working, when did you last change the filter,,but I put that LAST.
It has to be one or the other of these.
Good Luck

Best thing to check is your fuel filter. After sitting for a little while, it will allow fuel through it but when you put a demand on the system, it cant supply enough and will sputter and die. Its easy to replace and very inexpensive. If it continues after that, you will at least know it was eliminated and can move from there.

SOURCE: steps to replace fuel pump on 1999 jeep cherokee laredo 4wheel dr

how are the spark plugs?

would start with those.

the fuel filter is usually located under the hood by the intake manifold and attached to the firewall of the car. the pump is located right by the fuel tank and if you cant see it then its inside the fuel tank. (you will have to lower the fuel tank down to get to the pump.)

2000 Jeep Cherokee Laredo P0455 & P0765 limp mode and dies driving!

4.7L jeep
the p07 code is tranny error.
cutting off all power means , power to rear wheels or DC battery power to some things ,electrical things die?)
on all cars, DC power must be good first or the computers fail or go mad.
P0455 is gas cap loose, ignore it until all else is cured.
unless cap is missing sure.
Shift Solenoid "D" Malfunction. 0755

fix DC power distribution problems first.
bad grounds, bad connectors, alternator weak or dead
fuses blown or loose
loose wire lugs, or connectors.
rusty ground lugs wires.

title ,DIES Driving.
so dies means engine stalls. not tranny slip right.?
if is stalling can you save the stall before it completes the stall
by fast right foot actions
when it stalls tell the helper all other electrical things that die at the event. Radio dead, head lamps and parking lamps dead.
heater or AC cool blower dead?

Seems to me a pure electrical failure so far.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Keeps stalling, engine

P0505 means the whole Idle Control system, not only the IAM. Check all related sensors (i.e. crankshaft sensor). Check with a voltmeter direct at the connector of the IAM if you get any signal. Remove the IAM from the TB, connect him, let someone switch your ignition key to ON. The IAM need to drive in/out for a short time to find the right position. Hold the IAM near a hard part, that they cant drive out completely! If IAM works fine, check the fuel pressure, check and clean your TB ( if not done yet). If that doesn't work, come back again please

1994 jeep grand cheeroke limited stalling

There is no such thing as a small fuel leak. Even if the car was running great, it is extremely dangerous. You can "section" the line using a small pipe cutter and brass compression fittings if you don't want to change the entire length (providing it's not really rusted. Most of, if not all your problems can definitely attributed to that leak.
