Question about 1984 Cadillac Eldorado
Actually the Eldorado does require 91 or higher octane ... It's needed to cause the proper detonation and pressure for your cylinders to cycle!
They didnt just mention it in the manual to make gas stations rich!
But yea, u wanna make sure the gas cap is on tight!
If it came on right after putting in lower than 91 I would run my car to E then fill up with Shell preferably

Your car does not require premium fuel. If you have a lead foot and live in a hilly area, it's possible you're causing knock. Best bet... check that your gas cap is tight.
