Hello! check your fuel pump, i think this car still has a mechanical fuel pump, once the diapghram in fuel pump is bad, it will release gas fumes after a few km of driving.

A leaking fuel line can be discovered by looking for gaspuddles under your car when parked. A fuel-injection line may also leak, causing you to notice the smell of gasfumes during and immediately after driving. A fuel-tank vent hose may also leak, causing unburned gas to exit your fuel system as vapor.24 Apr 2015
Sounds to me if its a rotten egg kind of smell I would be looking at the catalytic converter. If its a fuel smell I would be looking for a possible external leak . You can do this by setting the emergency brake vehicle in park and rotate the key to the on position. You will hear a hum as the fuel pump kicks in, follow your fuel lines from the tank to the manifold. You may have to cycle the key every few minutes cause the pump will not run continuously. Genarally with a stuck injector you would get an engine light either because of a miss fire code an emmision code for runnig to rich. If no engine light focus on external leak.
sounds like u have a gas leak somewhere. check under the car on the floor see if u can see anything leaking also trace the gas line from the tank to the motor for leaks. u need to get this fixed before u have a fire.
Hello.
You do have the fuel line running in that area. Most fuel line leaks are at connections, ( where two lines are connected ).
If you, or a friend, are handy this should be a pretty easy fix.
If you are not handy, it shouldn't cost very much at all to have it fixed at an auto repair shop.
check the idle air control valve near the trottol body it cause the engine to stop when you let go of the gas pedal. It is idle air control valves job to keep the engine runnig when the driver is making a complete stop or the car is in park hope this info helps
Check the transmission fluid, with the van at normal temperature and after runnig it through drive and revers a few times then place it in park and check it with the engine running,if it's down then top it up with chrysler type fluid and get the leak fixed,if it's not down on fluid then get a transmission shop to look at it.
I would start by looking for a vacuum leak. You may even be able to hear the sucking sound if it is large enough, an assistant will be helpful in keeping it runnig while you look. An idle air bypass valve is also another likely culprit. But first verify no vacuum leak or intake air leak. Mass Air Flow sensor could cause it too, but is usually associated with a running issue off of idle as well.
Good luck
