Question about 2003 Volvo S60
I walked out of work and went to leave, but the car just cranked and never turned over. The Immobilizer was displayed on the digital display as well as reduced engine performance. That was thursday. The next day the shop advised me to try and jumpstart the car- though there was nothing that seemed that the battery was low. But we did it anyhow- with no luck. By that sat my friend and I returned to try 2 times and then the car finally caught. I drove close to 20 miles with no problem the entire trip home.
It never did start again. What all could it be? Is the fuel pump the obvious answer? It just seems that a car with just 90 k needs a new fuel pump??? Curious.
How to diconnect the fuel pump

You said immobilizer/that is your alarm shutting down the car /there will be codes in the systems memory but you need to have a volvo tech read them/try a different
key and get all other keys out of car/lock and unlock car first
