ITS NOT AN MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR PROBLEM OR IT WOULD BE CAUSING BOTH BANKS TO RUN RICH. SINCE IT IS ONLY ONE BANK RUNNING RICH IT MEANS THAT ON THAT BANK THE OXYGEN SENSORS ARE GETTING A RICH READING. THIS IS MOST LIKELY CAUSED BY BAD SPARK PLUGS OR WIRES ON THAT BANK. THERE ARE MANY OTHER POSSIBLE CAUSES, BUT I WOULD BET IT IS THE PLUGS, ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS WORSE IN THE MORNINGS WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING COLD.

You need to get the codes, then work from a
touble chart

MAF Sensor --dirty or bad
Evap System Leaks

A rich reading,doesn't mean a rich condition,
your looking for

Have to start with codes & then start testing,
until you find something not as it should be

Does it give a misfire or just, system to rich? If it gives you a cylinder number trying switching a injector, if the code jumps to cyl where you swapped, replace injector.

2002 Grand Prix GTP has code p1133. Insufician swtching bank 1 sensor 1 . What should I do, Replace it?

For a little bit technical. pcm send .450mv as reference the middle is .500mv it's rated o to 1000mv . The o2 sensor sense rich condition over .500mv and lower poor condition. It's switch from rich to poor condition all the time. But as to go near 100mv and 900mv if not o2 sensor could be at fault

97' Pontiac Gran Prix Won't Stay running

Known GTP problem.

You most likely have a bad fuel pump resistor, which controls 2 speeds of the fuel pump.

To check to see if this is the problem, there is a trick you can do and its very easy to do. Go to the attached link, and bend the tab my finger is pointing at and then plug it back in. If your car starts and runs fine, well we just solved the problem.
