I have a 1993 GMC sierra 1500 extended cab 4.3 v6 TBI and I'm hearing stories about this Accel Remote Mount Super Coil burning out Ignition Control Modules

I don't know about your particular application, but I do know that manufacturers are not using heavy enough wire for many things on a vehicle. So if the coils are bigger (higher output voltage) then they probably would draw more power and more load on control modules. I don't know any reason why stock would not be enough spark, these are a lot more powerful already than ignition systems were 40+ years ago. So in my opinion, no I wouldn't do it.

I bought performance ignition accel part # 140040 all 8 replace. The code that coming up is Message 1 of 7 PO 351 Ignition coil A Primary / sec circ error. The next code reads the same but said PO352 coil...

TRY swapping back to your factory coils. I believe you are gonna find these coils are not compatable with the gm system. I assume truck is running fine? also the plugs may not work well with truck but this would show a po300. computer is designed to be able to tell the resistance in the coils and the amount of enegy used. when you swap with different components it messes with the values it expects to see. helped a corvette owner with similiar issues here:

2012 ford mustang ignition coil resistance

Pull an easy one and check. The resistance should be really close. I don't check. I pull another and swap them. If the misfires goes to that cylinder, replace the coil. If not, I check wiring for the original misfire. You can use a noid light for the coil plug also.

Need wiring diagram for 67 mustang

ok Ed I found you again and more info , your ignition is point, unless modified style, mallory is a hi out put ignition system ,that gives great spark control,=power goes to coil and is sent to distrubiter to the points to the rotor to the plug wires to spark plugs.NOW you can get any unit of wiring but not the whole car that would take 100 of pages ,or you go and buy a SHOP REPAIR MANUAL for about 125.00 or more what you can do is type in (images of wiring diagrams 1967 mustang (motor size) (and area you need ) ) like ignition ,blower motor, head lights, and look at site ,and lastly join a mustang car club online those guys EAT AND BREATH mustangs and can lead you to all the info you could ever want .
