You just replace the O rings and check if its leaking ,before doing replacement check for blocked injectors which is causing this problem:

1996 blazer getting gas in the oil. Someone said the fuel pressure regulater was bad.

That is one possibility, but you may also have leaking fuel injectors and worn piston rings. Best way to find out if by performing a pressure test with vehicle key on, engine off. Can also drain your engine oil and smell for fuel. If you smell fuel, you may need rings and / or injectors.

I have a 2000 Buick century 3.1 I smell gas when it starts but can't locate where its coming from I changed the fuel filter hoses and checked the fuel pump it smells like its coming from the hood

You may have a fuel injector that is leaking tiny amounts of fuel at the connection to the fuel supply pipe that sits over the fuel injectors, check there and replace any seeping "O" ring seals that you find. There should be stains from any fuel leaking, look carefully.

I have a 95 Nissan maxima and smoke and gas coming out my tail pipe I was told that it was my was fuel regulator all I smell is gas when i my start car can some body plz help me find the problem plz

It would be unlikely gas is coming out of the tailpipe. The fuel regulator can leak internally and externally. If there is an internal leak with the regulator, the vehicle will be overfueled and will run poorly if at all with black smoke out the tailpipe and most likely the check engine light on/flashing. You may experience a fuel smell. If the regulator is leaking external, there will be a definate fuel smell. You may also have an injector or injector seal leaking as well. Depending on the engine size 4 or 6 cyl, it can be hard to spot an injector leak. However, a fuel p;ressure regulator can easily be located and checked for a fuel leak.

Hello, I have a 2004 jeep grand Cherokee and it boggs and there is alot smoke out the tailpipe and has a strong gas smell. I replaced the spark plugs, coil throttle position sensor, a fule injector

You may have bad rings on one of or all of your pistons. If both smoke from oil and gas mixing with it is coming out of the tail pipe.
Good Luck

Check your fuel regulator.Pull the vacuum hose off the regulator and look for fuel inside hose.If you see fuel inside the vacuum hose replace regulator.

Gas smell in car

There is a recall on the fuel rail for your vehicle. In my case I had 2 leaking fuel injectors. The intake manifold needs to come off, but it pretty easy to change the o-rings on the leaking injectors. Costs is about $25 for the new o-ring and about 2 hours of your time.

Gasoline smell in air vents

A gasoline smell is from a leaking hose and you need to find that fast
You could have damaged a gas line during your repair work.
Get your money back on the damper repair. There are no gas dampers on autos.
