Question about 1998 Chrysler Sebring
My 1998 chrysler sebring convertible car battery went dead. we had to disconnect the alarm siren to charge it, as the alarm kept going off. now the battery is charged but the alarm system is still preventing me from starting the car. the valet switch doesn't seem to work. opening the locked car with the key doesn't work. the key fob has fccid: elvat8c and model prooe2. thanks for any help you can give.
I replaced the ignition switch in my 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible.
To do so I disconnected the ground wire from the battery. After the ignition was repaired and every thing was put back together, the ignition no longer was sticking and works fine. BUT, when I start the car the alarm goes off. Is there a reset or what do I need to do to get this to stop. The car runs fine and I can even drive it. But every light the vehicle has is still flashing and I unplugged the horn.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
