I have a 2007 Spectra and I am having the same problem with my automatic door locks. I will unlock the doors with my key fob and as soon as I pull the door handle, the doors will lock again. Sometimes, the doors even lock automatically when I shut them. This is all happening with the car off and parked.

I will unlock all doors with the key fob then open the rear door to put something on the back seat and all doors will relock. Also when the front passenger door is closed that will sometimes cause all doors to lock, On several occasions when signaling for a left turn that will also lock all doors.

Sometimes when I press unlock twice (so all doors will unlock) it works OK. Other times the same procedure will cause the doors to unlock and then immediately relock. It is very intermittent and very frustrating.

I have the exact same problem, randomly locking the doors with the key in or out and sometimes the key fob has ability to unlock the doors with the keys in or out. Kia service appears to be in denial about how to service the vehicle because of the "complexity" did I say "Kia & complexity" in the same sentence?

I had the same problem. Took it in & the shop replaced a relay in the drivers side door. This fixed the problem. They said this has happened to alot of these cars.

First take of the caliper. Once you do that, take off the old pads. To get the piston pushed back, you have to turn the piston clockwise and push it in simataniously.

My rear door makes a buzzing noise when i lock the doors... I have a 2004 kia spectra....

This noise could be cause from the door lock actuator. If this is the Problem it will need replacement. But in most cases if the actuator is faulty the locks will jump, and not always lock on that door.
