Does it drip off onto the driveway? As in oil pools?

You first need to determine if the oil is blowing out when the engine is on high revs or if it happens anytime the engine operates. On my 1996 Mark VIII it ended up being the valve cover gaskets, but at first it was such a small leak that it would only blow out when the engine was at high revs. I eventually found the problem by steam cleaning the engine and then using kitchen floor to spot the leak.

I have smoke coming from both of my tail pipes on a 2001 Cadillac Deville. I can't really tell whether the smoke is gray or white. The car has not ran hot. I did change the radiator cap but that is the...
If your loosing coolant when it cools off and draws it out of the resevoir,you know it is water and then maybe white smoke.
You could warm it up without the rad cap and look for bubbles. It will push out air and coolant anyway,so that will be a difficult test.

Dual exhaust issues,should be common to both banks. I would go with coolant and intake gaskets first,may have a crossover in manifold,so you get both pipes effected.

hi... it all depends on the colour of the smoke... usualy blueish smoke will mean it is oil burning and your piston rings may be getting worn if it is black then it might be running too rich etc.. a little bit of water is fine infact usualy it is a good sign that your engine is not running rich or lean so it is pointing towards oil seals... also if it was running rich it would probably do it more when it was cold

Constant smoke from tail pipe.
If its smoking that bad you should be able to tell if its oil or antifreeze by the smell, stand behind the car as its running, if its white and you smell a sweet smell its antifreeze if its blue and smells like a oil refinery its oil.

Think I may have overfilled my oil in my Cadillac Deville 98. What would be the symptoms, and is it fixable?
usually no immediate symtoms,but it can cause oil to get past the piston rings,causing it to smoke,and/or blow oil seals in the engine.how much over is it?the space on the dipstick between ADD & FULL is about 1 quart.if its overfull by a quart or more,drain some out,or take it in for an oil change.they'll drain it all and fill it properly.

A few tell tail Signs to look for are
1. Excessive Pressure in radiator and car over heats
2. Look under oil cap when antifreeze and oil mixes it becomes a cream-ish white like heavy cream almost. It may be under there.
3. White smoke all the time out the tail pipe
4.loosing antifreeze but there is no visible leak.
5. Antifreeze in oil or oil in antifreeze.
