Question about 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Coupe

2007 Chevrolet Colbalt LS - Not running at all!!!!

I have about 33k miles on my car. My car shut off when I pulled up to a stop sign last friday night. When I tried to turn it back on all that came back on was the lights. There was no engine turnover at all. No sounds were coming from the car. I didn't have any indications that there was anything wrong with the car. It didn't hesitate when I drove it earlier that day and I haven't had any other problems like this with it. The only other problem I've had was with the clutch and that's been fixed. There is one thing that I have noticed but I wasn't sure if this had something to do with the car or the quality of the gas (watered down gas maybe?) I was putting in my car. I've tried to go to several different gas stations but I still seem to be going through an insane amount of gas. It, sometimes, takes an entire unit (out of the 8 units on the gas mileage tracker on the dashboard) to commute back and forth to work for just 1 day - and it is only a little over 11 miles both ways combined. Do you know what could possibly be wrong with my car? It is with a chevy car dealership but they're stumped at this moment.

The first thing i would check into is the coil packs. If it sounds like a missfire (hard to hear on a small 4 cylinder). Also it sounds odd but the engine sometimes has an ignition fuse. If that fuse is blown there is a power wire short somewhere in the wiring harness. Also if the check engine light is on the gas consumption may be the O2 sensor. I have had sensors last for as little as 200 miles before on my truck. This dropped my mileage from 21 to 4 mpg.

Grinding noise and now ABS light stays on. 2007

although 33k is low mileage it sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing hub assembly.

I own a 2007 chevy uplander v6 95k miles and the cooling fan comes on 20 seconds after car is running. I traced the fuse block to fan#3 by removing fan relay to know which fan is being told to run. it only...

Your vehicle has two fans controlled by three relay's . Both fans run together at two different speeds , low an high ! With the A/C on the fan's will run all the time while stopped at stop sign or idling . Any other time the then only come on when the coolant reaches a set temp. The ETC - engine coolant temp sensor is a input to the PCM - engine computer . When coolant temp reaches 212 degress the PCM energizes the fan 1 relay turning on both fans at low speed . This is very complex ,your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop.

I have a Lexus LS 460-2007 with 45000 miles on it, should it need breaks at this time?

you can't estimate brake wear with mileage, dirver style, conditions such as highway, city, hilly country, all have a different effect on brake wear, i have seen some drivers only get 15,000 miles and others over 100,000, best to get them inspected once a year and replaced when 60 to 70% worn

Our 07 Equinox only has 39,300 miles on it. I can

If the fluid level is good or you see seepage from where the master is mounted, you are likely correct. If fluid is low, check all lines and fittings, calipers etc for signs of leaks as well.

Cruise control not working, will not engage. No

Me too, 2007 with 33K miles. I read low brake fluid will cause the issue. I need to buy some.
