The headlights on my Liberty have started to blink while driving. This doesn't happen everytime its driven and not constantly, just off back on and may not happen again for a few days

I have been having the exact same problem for a few weeks, on and off again of course. At first I thought I was hitting the switch on accident, but that's not the case.

My headlights blink a lot. It is scary. It does happen after I use the direction signals for the first time so I think it is related. Is this a JEEP problem that they should fix? What do I need to fix and how much should it cost?

I have the same problem on my 2002 Jeep Renegade. I thought there was a short somewhere. Glad to know I'm not the only one with this problem.

My Wife's 2002 liberty doing the same thing. No pattern or regularity. I have it a the repair shop now and we are going to try the least expensive fix first which is replacing the relay. Hopefully we get lucky as I'm told it could be the Body Control Module which is 500 or more dollars, and has to be reprogrammed by the dealer because it stores your vehicles mileage as well.
Yikes!!! I'm sure there are alot of others out there with the same problem. I wish it would be considered a recall issue.

2002 Jeep Liberty Limited. The headlights turn off and back on (making the sound like you are twisting the control on the signal stem). This just started happening. Replaced both bulbs. Still happened. Brought it to a mechanic who "tested" but could not repeat the problem. He took apart and reset the "pins"... seemed okay for a couple days, then it happened again twice in one day. Will take back and ask him to start replacing the cheapest parts first... ;-) Obviously a safety issue... if not ending up in a ditch, having other motorists thinking you are "signaling" them for some reason.

I have the same problem. I had it when I turned on my Blinker and turned. When the switch in the steering wheel turn the blinker off it made my head lights blink sometimes. It has to do with the switch that controls the blinker and the head lights. It does not happen all the time.

My automatic headlights stopped working on my 2009 Jeep Liberty. I can turn them on manually.

My 2008 jeep liberty's headlights flickered when I was just driving down the road in the dark and then completely shut off on me. My fog lights are the only lights that work now and my lights continue to blink off and on a couple times and then completely off. Now that this has happened my jeep will continue to lock and unlock itself and also my blowers for heat and cool air will not blow at all...

Jeep Liberty 2002 - I get a fast blink on the left turn signal (but a normal blink on the right). Where is the flasher located?

Normally when this happens you have a blown bulb on either the front or rear the fast blink is because with only one bulb working the flasher clicks it faster less of a load means faster blink.

2002 Jeep Liberty Blinking Headlights

LOL....Stealership is a good phrase..I'll remember that.

If you don't need the part IMMEDIATELY try going to they have everything and it's generally in stock.

Instead of ordering over the net call them....not every time, but generally they'll drop the price a few bucks, at least enough to help cover thier reaslitic shipping charges...NO B.S.

I paid $6.95 to have a Tonneau Cover for one of my pick-ups shipped to my house.

I hope this helps, by the way Jeep is well known for headlight switch issues.

I hope this helps, let me know what you think about the web site.

I am in NO way connected to the warhouse financially or otherwise.

Thanks for letting fix ya
