2008 uplander tire pressure monitor maintenance warning light needs reset

  • Set the parking brake.
  • Turn the ignition switch to RUN with the engine off.
  • Using the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter, lock and unlock the vehicle's doors.
  • Press and hold the RKE transmitter's LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time, for about three seconds. The horn chirps two times indicating the receiver is ready for the sensor matching process to begin.
  • Start with the driver side front tire. The driver side turn signal lamp comes on.
  • Remove the valve cap from the valve cap stem. Activate the TPMS sensor by increasing or decreasing the tire's air pressure for five seconds, or until a horn chirp sounds. The horn chirp, which may take up to 30 seconds to sound, confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheel position.
  • Proceed to the passenger side front tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 6.
  • Proceed to the passenger side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 6.
  • Proceed to the driver side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 6.
  • After hearing the confirming horn chirp for the driver side rear tire, the tire sensor matching process ends. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
  • Set all four tires to the recommended air pressure level as indicated on the Tire and Loading Information label.
  • Put the valve caps back on the valve stems.

I just got stuck twice in two different icy parking spaced with my 2004 Trailblazer. The front tire was on dry road, and the indicator said it was in 4 hi. Why was the rear driver-side tire spinning? Is...

Unless you have a locking differential in the rear, then the drivers rear would just spin, and the passenger side rear would do nothing. Now on the front, the passenger side front is the power wheel. If the passenger side front wasn't spinning either, then you may have an actuator problem. The other problem too look into would be the TCCM (transfer case control module) could be going bad.

Looking how to lower spare tire on toyota sienna van

Hello. Welcome to FixYa! Please allow us to assist you.

The procedure is as follows, to remove the spare tire from a 2WD Sienna:

Move the passenger seat as far forward as possible.
Move the passenger side middle seat back as far as possible.
Obtain your tire tool (the one you would use to remove the lugnuts)
Observe the carpeting behind the front passenger seat; you will see a small piece of carpet, like a small 'flap', that can be raised.
Under this flap is a small silver 'bolt'. Fit the lug wrench onto this bolt, and rotate it. This will lower the cable that raises the spare tire up under the area between the passenger front and rear seats.

Note: 4WD Siennas do not have any spare tires, as they came with 'run-flat' tires. Toyota did not fit a spare on the 4WD units.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance today.

Tire that was flat was on pass side front? Have you tried to drive it? When jacked up to change wheel, it won't turn if the other is on the ground. Hope it's that simple. If not, I'll try to help further.
