A/c fan doesn't work on Jeep Grand Cherokee

My a/c and heat work, but the fan doesn't blow on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's been doing this for about a year. Quit working for a few days and then would come on again. It quit for a couple of weeks last summer and then just came on again. It went off about a month ago and hasn't come on again.

I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but will certainly check the motor first. Thanks for your help!

Your fan motor needs to be replaced chances are it doesn't spin free and due to a sudden vibration it will work on it's own. when you have this replaced i would also change the reostat.

AC/Heater blower fan stops blowing air into the cabin when I accelerate.

Usually a vac leak. I would check for a leak in the HVAC control system and the line thru the firewall to the engine.

No heat or ac blowing 2003 jeep grand cherokee

If nothing is blowing at all then you need to check the fuse, check voltage at the fan by turning on the switch if no voltage then the switch is bad, if voltage and no fan then the fan is bad.
