I purchased my Kia Amanti about 1 1/2 years ago. It is a 2005 and has less than 19k miles. My washer fluid light came on and then a day or so later the radio display began showing "NO CON". I do not have an owners manual, therefore i am @ a loss as to what this means.
Can you help me?

Discinnect the battery for 5 min and reconnect it and this issue will be resolved.
I have a kia amanti 2005. For the last 2 weeks the dashboard in my amanti have been reading NO CON. Then yesterday it wouldn't start. I thought that it was time for a new battery but come to find out the connection on my battery was loose and needed to be connected back. So to answer the question NO CON means your battery connection ate becoming loose or they are loose
Raisethescor's solution worked for me. Remove one of the battery cables, wait 5 minutes, reconnect it.

My display just recently has started doing the same thing. I have a few more miles, but the age is the same. Any one have any suggestions?
Exactly the same problem... "NO CON" showing on the dispaly. Cannot tune to a specific radio station because the "NO CON" portion of the display is where the radio station frequency normally shows up. The radio works but just cannot tune to a specific station... has to be 'random'! All the other features on the dash display work OK.
I took my car to the dealer and was told this is a recall for the 05 Amanti. The dealer replaced the radio @ no charge.
If you bought your Amanti used, take it to a Kia dealer.
