2001 Chrysler Town and Country dashboard flicker and no start

Hello,i have both of my cars broke at the same time lucky me.

I've never changed the ignition switch but looks like thats what it is.Flickering dashboard lights, rear and front windshield motor go on without being activated, starter makes clicking type noise about 5 times,,battery drains somewhat, battery was 12 volts reading on the meter at first though.die hard gold i think 3 years old sears bat..no fuses blown.starter relay 100% checked with meter then energized and checked contacts again like the chilton book said.ASD relay switched with horn relay ,SAME NUMBERS ,no change but couldn't tell as good now cause battery draining down to 7 0r 8 volts.from the book looks like ignition switch or at the schematics 12-41 page body control module or a-c heater control mdule ???

    Happens here.

5 clicks on ignition try, the thing that seemed to start it off (at least a guess) is that one of the power door motors wouldn't deactivate. Although I'm not sure, as now I've seen all sorts of stuff, like windshield wipers going w/o being turned on and the like.

Per the advice of a friend, I am disconnecting the battery from the van and charging it. Hopefully with the battery disconnected, the computer will reset the electronics. We'll see...

SOURCE: Van won't start. Just makes a clikcing noise. Horn sounds weak.

THIS IS CAUSED BY A DEFECTIVE STARTER MOTOR SOLENOID, REMOVE AND REPLACE THE STARTER OR JUST REPLACE THE SOLENOID ON TOP OF THE STARTER IF YOU CAN BUY IT SEPERATE.

SOURCE: 94 Chrysler Town and Country won't start with key.

has it got an immobiliser / if so there is a fault there. If not an ignition switch itself.
