Try instrument panel fuse 17, AuxiliaryPower Rear. ...The instrument panel fuse block is located on the passenger side panel of the center console. To access the fuses, open the fuse panel door from the passenger side by pulling it out.
The fuse panel is in the convenience center (black box under the hood on drivers side). Unscrew the cover. There is a fuse map under the cover. The cigarette fuse is a yellow 20amp mini blade type.
the cigarette lighter fuse may be marked cig.usually it is clearly marked on the fuse panel cover.if all else fails check all the fuses with a test light.sometimes the cigarette lighter element burns out and doesn`t work.this is the part that you light the cigarette with and the element can be changed by it self.it unscrews from the handle portion when you pull up on the sliding part and turn the element portion.

In earlier model vehicles, the cigarette lighter is on the same circuit as the dash lights/ radio/ interior lights. before u pull panel, check for 12vdc with voltmeter inside lighter socket. If u have it, then clean contacts and/or replace lighter(not socket, wiring is fine) May save a lot of work. If you don't have voltage are you 100% sure you have right fuse and not the one below, above, or next to it? I still make mistakes with numbered fuses, which number is for which fuse. To make sure I start counting at 1.
The cigarette lighter fuse is a ten amp fuse behind the interior fuse panel down by the kick panel. Its in the bottom of the center console. Schematic for fuses on back of kick panel.
