2000 blazer idles 5-15 min. Shuts off restart in mayb 5 min.

First, why are you allowing engine to idle for such long times? Heat in electronic components can build to excessive levels when idling. Coils, ignition modules, crank and cam sensors all can fail at these times. Once part cools it may function again.

No scan tool communication with 2001 with dodge dakota..why?

FIRST IS THE FUSES UNDER DASH AND UNDER HOOD FUSE BOX. OBD2 POWER IS FROM THE CIG. LIGHTER FUSE. UNPLUG PHONE CHARGER OR ANY OTHER FROM CIGARETTE LIGHTER AND TEST FOR POWER. THROTTLE IS ELECTRONIC AND CONTROL FROM PCM. IF YOU DON'T HAVE SCANNER DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND CONNECT AGAIN. SOMETIMES NEED 10 MIN. DRIVING TO LEARN THE IDLE.
GOOD LUCK

When I drive to the store, park, and shop....when I return 30 minutes later to go home I have trouble starting. It's feel like it's not getting gas...when I give it a lot of gas it finally runs and I am...

Dear Madam or Sir,

there seems to be a problem with the idle-control-valve and / or the engine temperature sensor.

No worries, both of them do not cost heaps of money.
The idle control valve can be cleaned - mostly.

You should see your Chevrolet Branch to check the vehicles fault memory to get to the heart of the matter.

Thank you and kind regards from Germany
