Hi there,

it could be:

>wheels rubbing on inside of wheel arch
>steering linkage hitting something

Try putting the car on a lift/ if you can, and get someone to steer it full lock to full lock both sides whilst you observe the steering mechanism, then you might be able to see what's happening.

Have a nice day :)

SOURCE: 2002 Neon front end passenger wheel clicks when turning right

Replace the CV axles. I say replace both of the axles because if one is going out, the other one is right behind it. This should get rid of your clicking sound/vibration.

SOURCE: Vibration and noise from front end while driving

Jack up the front end and put stands under it and block rear wheels. Look at axle boots and see if they are cracked. Try turning wheel back and forth sharply and see if you can hear any clicking. Problem could be outer axle joints. If the boots are cracked or you hear a clicking noise you will have to replace the axle. The axle and boot come as a complete unit. Please let me know what you find out.

I have a clicking noise coming from the rear end between 5 and 15 mph

check the brakes for:
-worn parts
-debris stuck or wedge in brake assembly.
check wheels and tires for wear and debris.
Clicking is due to rotation of axle and wheel/tires.

1999 durango has a light clicking coming from the left front wheel stops when you apply brakes or turn but gets progressively worse as you drive

Could be a front wheel bearing. Jack the car up and grab the top and bottom of the wheel and try to pull in and out. If any slop is felt replace the bearing.

Squeeling noise in one of the wheels on a 2007 Dodge Durango.

If its a lite squeel and goes away when brakes are applied. Have you had front brakes put on recently. If you have and the rotors were not replaced and turned. Alot of mechanics don't do the final cross hatching on the rotors when they are done turning. This will barke in the pads wrong and cause this even with expensive pads. It will cause premature glazing and have a squeel that will drive you crazy.

I had front brakes and rotors replaced on my 2000 Durango. Within a week I heard something like a grind coming from the right front tire. And tonight I heard the same noise when braking but it was much...

sounds like something was jammed, or loose. I'd recommend taking it back to where the brakes were done and have them check it out in case something they did is messed up.
