The car just stops in traffic as we are going down he road ,after awhile it might start. We've had to get a wreak truck several times. We had a new fuel pump put on and that didn't fix it--We just had a ignition module put on and that didn't fix it. ????

It could be any of those, ballast resister, if you have an electric fuel pump, that could be going bad, leaky fuel line.....etc. There's a lot of things that can cause this problem.

intermittents are sometimes hard to diagnose out !! and this seems as one , im curious though what made them wiggle the relays and fuses ?? was there a previous problem there ?? depending on year of manufacture of car , is weather or not the cars own pcu can help diagnose what made car stop , as later models "remember " what there last condition was that shut off engine , of course this requires diagnostic equipment to see this info that typically car owners don't own , but a qualified service tech does and knows how to use it to find your problem

My car is sputtering and dying. If I try to restart it, it will immediately go into sputtering/dying mode. If I wait a while an hour or so it will start up and drive fine.

When was the last time that the carburetor was stripped and cleaned? Also have you checked the fuel filter? Finally, the problem seems to come and go as the engine is run (and it gets hot) check that the fuel line and any electrical cables are well away from the hot engine as far as is possible.

98- bonneville started to warm up ran for few minutes then died. waited about 1/2 then started again drove around block parked in drive let idle died again. also when it rains car idles rough .

check and or change the plug wires also check for a crack coil pack which is highly likely on that model and also check the ignition module as well
