the screaching noise is 1 of your belts needs to be tightened. noise from the right front tire sounds like a bad sturt or ball joint and that needs to looked at
An A/C clutch will not make this concern happen, more likely the A/C compressor is begining to go out. The belt on the A/C clutch Assy. free wheels (spins feree on the pulley) when clutch is not engaged. If concern is not present with A/C off this means the bearings in the puley assy. ok. Once the A/C clutch is engaged it locks the compressor against the spinning pulley and turn the compressor chaft and spins the A/C compressor internal shaft. If you hear a loud "screach" when you turn on the A/C it means the belt slipped for a second, if it continiues to screach it means either the belt is loose or that the compressor is internaly locking up. I wouild start by checking the belt tension (if not equipted with and auto tensioner). You can also remove the belt and turn on the A/C and attempt to turn the clutch/pulley by hand, it should turn with a little effect but should not bind or lock at times if that happens compressor is bad.
The pulley has no adjustment, if it is loose you have a bearing problem. If it only makes noise with the a/c on, I would suspect a clutch or compressor problem. Hope this helps, TJ
there are a few things you can do to check this ,it sounds like a bearing from the alternator . it is behind the pully ,or the bearing on the tensioner .you can take the serpentine belt of the alternator by usint a pry bar or a ratchet on the belt tensioner .you can check both by spinning them when ther is no pressure on them the one that makes the same noise sound is the bad one ,there is a diagram on the front hood on how to remove and replace the serpiene belt
When you put your A/C on, there is Vacum Motor or Solonoide, that increases RPM of the Engine to compensate the load of an A/C. If the vacum hose is leaking or raptured the RPM of Engine remain low and Engine Shakes. When you put the A/C on and the RPM of Engine Increases, but a little, then your Selonoide is working but not adjusted properly, so adjust it for the proper RPM of the Engine. Put all the loads on, I mean Head Lights and A/C on and then ajust the RPM.
It sounds like the bearings are about toast. Or, you have another pulley that is shot.....when you hear the screech, spray some lube on a pulley one at a time. Figure out what is about to go bad on you. But, if it happens when the ac runs, then the ac is the suspect.
If the noise going away every time u turning off the ac it's probably your ac compressor belt.however i will suggest to take some vaseline and rub it all over the exposed parts of your drive belt.
