Question about 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck 2WD
Truck won't start after being up on ramps, engine cranks but will not fire. The fuel was low we have added fuel and removed the truck from the ramps. Plus, where is the filter on this truck.
If Benimur's answer didnt fix it, then it could be a fuel shutoff valve. I know that Ford installs this safety feature in case the vehicle rolls over to help lower the likelihood of fire spreading due to a fuel spill. I'm not sure, though, if Dodge installed these on 2001 Dakotas. I'll check once I can get to my manual and try to post an update.
