Question about 1994 Nissan Altima
The starter is bad the contacts in the solonoid are worn and you need a new starter but do not for any reason go for the cheapest one Nissan needs a specific cranking RPM and most cheap aftermarket starters cannot give what it needs.
Also have the battery Load tested and replace it at the same time if it fails or is even close to failing
if this information is helpful please give me a good rating, Thank You, Randy

Check your battery connections & battery condition, as well as connections at the starter. If those are cleaned and tightened, and battery is good, I'd start thinking about a new/rebuilt starter. $200. should cover parts & labor.

I have a 2001 nissan altima and It was a hard start but would finally turn over but then yesterday it would not start at all. The dashboard does not light up when I put the key in the "on" position.
There is no power to the starter but battery is fine. There seems to be no power going to starter
