{: ) If the SERVICE PARK ASSIST message is displayed on the cluster, the on/off button will have no effect. It seems that the repairs was not fully completed. There is still a fault present, and it will give a code. Did they use a scan tool when they replaced the sensors? It's possible the wirings and connectors could have been affected too, or even the module. By the way, have you checked the fuse OBS DET at the IP fuseblock?

2007 Buick rendezvous rear park assist doesn’t work . No sound at sensor when checking in reverse .

See the awd fuse in under hood fuse box, not only check the fuse, use a test light and check voltage on fuse circuit, key on. There shows to be four park assist sensors at the rear bumper, they have three wire connector, that is ref voltage--ground--signal. You also have a rear park assist module, At the moment, I don't know where that is located? Any applicable trouble codes relating to rear park assist? I have some text explaining the operation, but, not really any troubleshooting sequence.

#PIT4878: Service Park Assist Message / LEDs Stay On Or Inop - keywords B0968 inoperative lamp led light lit module reverse urpa - (Jun 12, 2009) 999999995.gif Subject: Service Park Assist Message/ LED's Stay On or Inop Models: 2007-2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2007-2009 GMC Sierra With RPO UD7

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern: Some customers my comment of a Service Park Assist Message on the DIC and/or the LED indicators at the right rear pillar staying on or inoperative. This concern could be caused by the wiring harness to the LED indicators being pinched under a ground eyelet at the right rear pillar, as shown below.

other issues could be the problem such as poor connections at each sensor or damaged sensors. to clear URPA codes, place ignition in run,(engine OFF),shift into reverse and turn key OFF.place shift lever into park and retest operation of URPA. if still inop URPA code(s) need to be retrieved before further diagnosis can be accurately done.

Service parking assistance lighy flashes

Check for damage on the rear bumper. There are 4 sensors there that detect objects when backing up. They are quite fragile, and don't take much abuse before failing. If they all look good, check the connection behind the bumper. Its still most likely a failed sensor, someone probably hit you in a parking lot.

I have a message on my 07 tahoe that says service park assist, what does that mean?

Vehicle sounds like it has rear back-up sensors, one or all may have failed. Will have to scan for the codes, a dealer scanner may be the only way to read those codes.
