check cruise control fuse and check the brake lights see if brake light working because the brake light switch will deactivate cruise control when brakes is applied.if brake lights dont work either fuse blowed or switch bad.if all is good have vechicle code scan because cruise control control by PCM and vechicle speed sensor and thottle actuator control motor.
I would check the turn signal switch. The cruise and turn signal are on the same switch. The brake lights go through the switch before going to the brake lights. And the turn signals don't work with the ignition off.
CK codes c0131 ABS/TCS system pressure circuit malfunction. Their is a Technical Service Bulletin out for this that is being addressed by chevy so you may want to get in touch with them.
this could be a blown fuse(which you can check) or a mis-adjusted cruise cut out switch that works off of the brake switch.you may want to go to a shop that can check the cruise with a tool that has the capablilities to check cruise controls as it could be a switch or control unit that has gone bad.
I have the same problem, I was told the buttons just pop off and the light is actually in the button. Not jow true the that is b/c I have tried it yet. Also was told to buy used buttons from junk yard too.
i think it stands for traction control. most cars with that say ETC which stands for electronic traction control. if you have a manual for the car it should say what it is.
Look for a button on the steering wheel that has a symbol of a windsheild wiper with dotted lines. Once you press the button you will see the cruise light come on. The light should be on the right side of the dash console. Set your cruise to desired speed.
There isn't one. This car has a "brake and throttle by wire" system and the brake light switch is inside of that. You have a bad brake position sensor. Figure $240 or so at a dealer.
