1995 nissan max. callibers problems HELP PLEASE

Hey got brake problems. My Nissan Maxima was shaking and the brakes were squeaking only on my rear driver side. So I got new brakes, callipers, and rotor for it. Put them on and it shakes more now and the brakes smells and the inner rim of the tire is being scratched up. Not sure what I did wrong I redid everything and let all the air out of the brake lines and all and it still is not working. What could be wrong? Please Help!

Check your e-brake cables. make sure they are moving freely on bith sides. did you use a torque wrench to torque the wheels also?? unevenly torqued wheels can cause rotor warpage causing brake pulsation/shake. problems like this are hard to fix over the internet, without me actually looking at it my self. Rear brake setup on a maxima is pretty simple setup. I am just trying to think, what you could have done to cause this. Did the pads slipped nice and easy in to the slides??, when you were putting the pads in?? let me kno what you find and we will take it from here.

rear discs? If they are, they should have an X or 4 dimples in the piston, you need to screw them back in, just watch the boot, sometimes they stick to the piston, they sell a tool to turn them in at the parts stores that goes on your 3/8 ratchet

Hey..GM..96 Nissan maxima...There is a Plastic Reservior on the Left Side with has a Blk Cap just before the Frt Struts..I need to ID this Part. If you are facing the windshield and must Refill...Plz...

The cap you are referring to is the clutch master cylinder. You use the same fluid as you do for the brakes. DOT 3 brake fluid. Do not over fill. There is are marks on the side of the reservoir showing minimum and maximum. I hope this is sufficient to answer your question. ....mybunkey

95 nissan maxima rear problems

Have you had the tires balanced lately? Make sure all tires are at the right pressures, make sure all lug nuts are on the car and torqued properly. If all of this is OK, have the wheels balanced (rotate them while you're at it).
