I think that it could be that a wire broke on the drivers side under the hood for the computer do you have a check engine light if yes that it looks like you may have a loose fuel injector connector, i had this both happen to my car and that what were fixed

1989 Bronco fullsize has sat for the past 6 years and wont start, will turn over, has new gas with fuel stabilizer, still no firing. Replacing spark plugs and the fuel pump are the next two steps. ...

Assuming she ran good before she sat, replacing the plugs, cap and rotor isn't a bad idea.Step 1: Make sure you have good spark. No need to worry about timing right now. Step 2: If you have spark, then we have to see if its getting gas. There are two fuel pumps on this Bronco. One in tank and one on the frame rail. Can you hear either one running? The in tank one should come on for a few minutes and shut off. The front one is harder to hear.If you hear it, borrow or rent a FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE and check your fuel pressure. There is a fitting similar to a tire valve on fuel rail. Pressure should remain constant. If either pump fails you will not get adequate fuel flow. The front pump is easy to get to for trouble-shooting. Don't buy anything unless your sure you will need it. Hope this helps.

Hey my omni wont start at the moment. we replaced the distributor cap and rotor and its not the map sensor what else could the problem be please help

If the car has current in the plugs and gas coming to the cylinders then it damn well start. Is the car being cranked? if yes, the battery is fine. Check the current in the plugs. The spark should be blue. The fuel pump working?

My 94 jeep cherokee started ran for a minute or 2 and stopped

i would suggest checking to see if you are getting fuel by disconnecting the fuel line at the fuel rail and turn key if no fuel then its either fuel pump or fuel filter. if you get fuel then it would be the spark

Turns over but wont start

If you don't hear it then it is probably not working.  One way you can check is to take a fuel line apart and see if fuel comes out when you turn the key.  The best place to do that is at the fuel filter.  Just make sure you have a small cup to catch the fuel if it comes out.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!

Start up Problems of my 1989 Golf GL

After sitting for a long time my Honda has a hard time starting. I have forun that it isn't a ignition problem rather a compression problem. Try about a tablespoon of 10w30 down the spark plug holes. turn the motor over then replace the plugs.

1989 Jeep Wrangler Standard wont start

You have to check if this is fuel or spark related. You HAVE to put a filter in the system or the fuel injectors will get clogged. Check for spark first. If you have a good spark at the plugs, then your problem may be fuel related. If uou don't have any spark, then the problem could be a bad crank sensor.
