89oldsmobile when making turn, car turns off

Some cars are equipped with automatic headlights, especially newer cars that will stay on for a little while after the car is turned off. Most cars headlights will stay on when a car turns off.

Car will not stay turned ON when cold

Try this. When you first try to turn your engine on, keep your foot on the gas pedal. The car should turn over but not start. (don't worry, its not supposed to). Take your foot off the gas and turn the ignition on again, but Don't touch the throttle this time. That should set your choke correctly. To summarise: Turn key with foot on Gas. Take foot off Gas, and turn key again.

If air is on, need to turn off to start car

Never turn-off the car with the air on. Turn-off the AC and allow the fan to blow-out the cold air for 30 seconds or more. This will prevent that 'musty' 'stinky' smell from occurring in your vent due to condensation.

If the car is 'slow' to turn-over, then your car battery may be failing....

You rstatment is odd but i think you said if you turn on the turn signal and have it turn it'self off by turning the steering wheel the engine shut's off but if you turn the signal off with the handle and everything is Okay? Or if you turn the wheel after making a turn the signal stays on till you turn it off with the handle. Or the car shuts off if you turn the whell with the turn signal on and as it shuts off the signal it stalls the car too.?

My ABS and Battery light turned on while I was driving and then when I finally got somewhere to turn my car off, the car would not turn on again.

Sounds like bad alternator??? Low battery voltage may have caused a bogus ABS code, please explain in further detail the extent of the car not starting. Is the battery fully charged etc..???? Does the car "click" instead of turning over, does the car try to turn over, but not start, or does nothing happen when you turn the key?

A/c fan will not turn off when i turn off the car

If I understand you right, your saying that your blower still runs, even after you turn off the vehical and remove the keys??? If thats the case, the only thing it could possibly be is the eletrical side of your ignition switch. Whats happening is that when you turn the car off, the switch is not disconnecting. Try this. After you turn off the car, and the blower is still working, remove the keys, try turning on your turn blinker. That should not work if the cars off. If it works, I would say its the switch. If it does not.....well...Im not sure. Hard to solve problems with out seeing. Good luck. John..
