havnt got a picture but just loosen the three bolts on the alternator,swing it inwards towards the engine block and remove/fit new belt,swing the alternator back out and tension the belt before doing up the bolts,use a long screwdiver as a "crowbar"to tighten.The belt should have 1/2/"play on the longest stretch between pulleys.....check the tension after 250 miles.(yes,it is that simple).
hi does the rattle go when you press the brake slightly if so the pads are loose in the caliper it is a common fault with that year of fords escorts feistas etc changing the pads usually clear the problem are they geniune pads if not take them back and change them if there geniune then its got to the pads carrier yates210456
