Question about 2005 Honda Civic
You need to see what the Code is. There is a common problem with the Throttle Cable being installed and not enough slack in the cable. There are 2 cables (Cruise and Accelerator). You need to confirm that it is the P1517 code and then more than likely, you need to loosen the cable and reset the light.
Resetting the light is easiest by going to your local Auto Parts store and using their OBD-II scanner and clear (Erase) the light.
Just Remember that you MUST have the slack in the cable or you will continue to get the code popping back on
