SOURCE: vtec 2.2L misfires
misfires wont always trigger a OBDI code but take your injector out and have it bench tested at local parts store or repair center assuming you have spark in that cylinder, cheaper usually but if it needs replacement heres some great places to get cheap replacement

its is best to replace all of the spark pugs in a motor rather then just one, if you replace just one you are asking for more prob in the future. stand gapping may be nessacary .045-.065

Unfortunately you probably need a new distributor. There are three pick-up coils mounted down inside the base of it. They go bad quite commonly. The unfortunate part is; the new distributor will come with a new cap, rotor, coil and module...which you have already bought. The distributors are not that expensive though, maybe you can sell the extra parts???
