If the cooling fans are coming on and the upper and lower hoses are both hot than I am 99% positive you have bad head gaskets. It's not uncommon on the 3.4 liter engines. To confirm, with the engine cold remove the radiator cap. Start the engine and watch the coolant in the radiator. If you see a constant percolation of air bubbles coming out of the radiator that you more than likely have a bad head gasket(s).

My blazer is over heating. I have changed the thermostat and flushed the radator and heater core. I have no leaks, but it still over heats.

Is the water pump working? When you run your car until it is at the operating range on the gauge, does the top radiator hose get warm (hot). Your motor block might have a calcium block. Make sure to use distilled water to fill up the rad.

How do you know the thermostat is ok? If in doubt replace it. Water pumps are a even bigger what if. Did he do a radiator flush? Cooling system flush of the engine? Cooling fans come on at what temp and go off when? Replace the engine temperature sensor? 6 years old is bound to have sensors and such go bad.

Might be a weak or failing water pump... Does it leak antifreeze or do you have to add antifreeze very often? When the engine gets to operating temperature squeeze the top radiator hose and see if you can feel pressure from the water pump forcing water through it.

I have a 2000 montana and mine was doing the same thing. I replaced intake manifold gaskets, thremostat, and water pump. Turns out it my heads were warped. I had them taken to a machine shop and it has seemed to fix my overheating problems.
