The timing belt? Sorry for previous one. Hi my 2004 dodge stratus R/T has 70,000 miles. Do I have to change the timing belt? Can I drive 5000 miles more? I don't have time to change it now. Thanks!

Typically you change it at 90 thousand miles. Yeah you can drive it. My moms car has 170 thousand miles and we have not changed it's belt since brand new.

Follow instructions from Dodge, If they say 60,000 and you have travelled 70,000 don't blame them if it brakes, if it does it can cause massive engine damage.

I have a 2004 dodge stratus, and I would like to know how often do you have to do an oil change?

A safe interval is 3,000 miles. You can extend this to 5,000 miles if you are driving on long trips at hiway speeds.

How often do i need to change timing belt

60,000 -70,000 is the industry standard. the book calls for 105,000, but i think you will come up with very serious issues if you wait that long.

Broken timing belt on 2004 dodge Stratus

It can happen, I'm not sure if you car is one of these. But when a timing belt breaks you take a gamble that your car is not one of these.
That is why the timing belt should be replaced every 60,000 miles!
Sorry!
