Question about 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Check the condition of the gearbox fluid. It should be red and up to the filler mark. If it is brown or black, then it needs changed asap. If there are any leaks, find the rubber seal that is offending and replace it and flush out the old fluid.
Cold weather is a killer for gearboxes and low fluid will only compound the problem. Always let the car warm up when it is cold before driving off.
Hope you appreciate the fast response and your problem gets fixed soon.
