Would converting the fuel injection to a carburator be successful if problems are being experience with the fuel injection. A new fuel injection is too pricey.

Yes it can be successful but I think that you will find that it will cost more than repairing the injection that you already have.

Where is the fuel pump relay for 2002 Kia Sedona

My fuelpump is not working on my 2003 kia Sedona, so I decided because I did not have the $410 plus tax that I would try to get one at the salvage yard. I pulled 4 and all of them the plastic container was broken. Finally after a month of this, I decided to take the motor out of one of the units and rebuild mine. I was successful with that, but now I did not find the right pump as it was not working properly.
I will eventually end up with one that works properly, but I would like to know how a person can test the pump mechanism before the entire rebuilding of the assembly. Thank you. Oh and this solution is going to cost $20 plus a in unit new filter container.

Need to know how to bleed clutch for 2002 kia rio 5

on the clutch cylinder , you will see a bleeder valve just like on a brake assembly,, it takes 2 people to do this, One in the car to push the clutch pedal in and release it, One outside to crack open the bleeder, have the person in the car push the pedal down to the floor slowly, as this is being done, the outside person cracks open the bleeder, have the inside person hold the pedal down all the way and not let it come up , the outside person watches the fliud come out of the bleeder, ( hopefully air too ) once it slows, turn the bleeder tight again, then the inside person can let the pedal up, do this 4 or 5 times, to bleed the system or until you see no bubbles come out of the bleeder, if the inside person lets up too soon, you have to start the process over. make sure you keep the fluid level full this should look like yours

Check around each wheel on the backside. If the line or fitting is leaking at the wheel, then you should see almost a wetness or oily look within that area. I would suspect a small leak in a brake line at one of the wheels, but you also have the tank, which could have a small crack. Even though you only add it a couple of weeks, there should still be a sign of leaking. Just a reminder, If the fluid gets on the rotors and the brakes are applied often, you run a risk of the wheel setting fire. Good Luck

First you must air bleeding out from inside hydraulic clutch acting system ! On the slave cylinder you will find an aeration screwed ventil provided for air bleeding. See picture below:

ee99bec.png Two person are necessary for this operation. One person for acting the clutch pedal and another person for air bleeding out from inside hydraulic clutch acting system by unscrewing the aeration ventil from slave cylinder. This operation is difficult, and must spend some time for successful result!

1. For first time training, press and hold the two outer HomeLink buttons, releasing
only when the HomeLink indicator light begins to flash after 20 seconds.
NOTE: Do not perform this step when training the additional HomeLink buttons.
2. Position the hand-held transmitter 1-3 inches away from the HomeLink mirror,
keeping the HomeLink indicator light in view.
3. Using both hands, simultaneously press and hold both the desired HomeLink button
and the hand held transmitter button.
DO NOT release until the HomeLink indicator light flashes slowly and then rapidly.
When the indicator light flashes rapidly, both buttons may be released. The rapid
flashing indicates successful training and the procedure is complete. This also
indicates that the garage door opener does not use rolling code technology.
Note: The garage door may open or close during this step.
Steps 4 through 7 are only necessary if the HomeLink button appears to be
transmitting after step 3, but the garage door does not operate.
4. Press and hold the trained HomeLink button and observe the indicator light.
If the indicator light is solid/continuous, training is complete and your device should
activate when the HomeLink button is pressed and released.
If the indicator light blinks rapidly for 2 seconds and then turns a solid/continuous light,
proceed with the following training instructions for a rolling code device. A second
person may make the following steps quicker and easier. It is recommended that a
ladder or similar device be used to obtain access to the motor housing. Do not stand
on the vehicle to perform the next steps.
5. At the garage door opener receiver (motor housing) in the garage, locate the “learn”
or “smart” button (usually near the hanging antenna wire attached to the unit). If
there is difficulty locating the training button, refer to the garage door opener’s
6. Press and release the “learn” or “smart” button (the name and color of the button
may vary by manufacturer).
NOTE: Once the button is pressed, there are 30 seconds in which to initiate the
next step.

7. Return to the vehicle and firmly press and hold the trained HomeLink button for two
seconds and release. Repeat the “press/hold/release” sequence up to 3 times to
complete the training process. If successful, your garage door should open or close
during this step.
If the vehicle owner continues to have difficulty programming their HomeLink mirror,
please have them contact HomeLink customer service directly at 1-800-355-3515 or for further assistance.

Good luck!

Battery is low, Hood release will not open the hood

You'll need two people for this fix:
Have one person sit in the car and be ready to pull the release lever. Have the other person outside in front of the hood. Count to three together, and on "three", have the person outside push DOWN on the hood as hard as they can while the other person simultaneously pulls the release lever. Keep the release lever pulled as the person outside lets go of the hood. This may take several attempts to get the timing right. In this situation, what is usually happening is that the spring-loaded hood is pushing up against the release catch hard enough to stop it from moving when the lever is pulled. Pressing down on the hood relieves this tension just long enough for the catch to let go.

I need to bleed the abs on a 2005 grand cherokee. I have a scan tool. Doesn't seem to do what I need. Also there is a ratchat sound in front left when turning. Had complete failure of caliper seal,...

i will assume it is a front wheel drive, which would make ratcheting sound being caused by a faulty CV joint.

to bleed brakes you need two people, you start with farthest from brake resivior, there should be like a little valve on the back of each brake caliper and behind brake drums. valve appears to look like it should have tube connected to it. it will be fairly small and around brake line coming into respective wheel. one person in car one person out, person in pump brake pedal several times and hold to floor, person out, have wrench and open valve person in car keeps pedal to floor until person out so valve is reclosed, do this procedure several times each wheel, all the while watching brake fluid level, if you run out of fluid or person in lets up before valve is closed air will get in lines and possibly caause permanent damage to master cylinder
