My F 250 6.0 Ford is running sluggish, you can pull out and she bogs down, I let her idle a lot , cold it be my erg , if so cant I take it off, she has 140,000 miles 1 owner. HEP

Gas or diesel ? Don't you have emission testing where you are ? if you do you can't take it off ,an it's not the EGR valve . If your vehicle is gas ,it's probably the catalytic converter , if you haven't taken it off already ! That is illegal You need to take it to a ASE certified repair facility .

Warning light 05 ford f350 diesel

I've never heard of that. It kinda seems like you might be seeing the low tire pressure light which has a deflated tire with an apostrophe in it.

Car cuts out

Since Fiesta diesels are a pretty new release I would take it back to the dealer under warranty, assuming it is still under warranty. It may be a blocked fuel filter, or contaminated fuel as it sounds like it is starving. Being so new I doubt that'd be the case, unless you've accidentally put petrol in it?? My daughter filled her new diesel up at the petrol bowser on the second fill and paid quite a fee to have the system drained and reprimed with new diesel fuel.

My odometer stopped working.

Is tripometer still working? Mine is the same way. Neither work. I've heard that a common issue for mid-late 90's Explorers is the teeth on the gears behind the dash eventually wear down or break off. Only sure way to fix it, is to pull the dash apart and replace with odometer assembly I believe. I think you can get them pretty cheap at a junk yard. Personally, I haven't cared enough to go through the process, so I drive without.

A/cnot blowing out of vents on my 2001 ford f350blows a little out of defrost will not switch positions ibleive its a vacum problem

I believe you are a true believer, because to my knowledge there's not anyone making a vehicle that uses anything other than vacuum to open the ducts in the HVAC systems on vehicles. Start the truck and engage one of the functions on the ac, defrost or vents and get under the dash and pull a vacuum line off. Place your finger on it and see if you have vacuum, if not, while still holding the line change functions on control panel. If you are getting vacuum then it is probably something obstructing the movement of the dampers, which is highly unlikely but possible. Check several lines for vacuum and I'm betting you're not getting any or at least not enough. If this is the case check under the hood for vacuum lines going through the firewall and for any loose lines on the motor. Also the main vacuum that goes into the cab will go to a module or splitter, which has numerous ports with lines go out to different devices. A line could be off of that. I cannot pinpoint exactly where it is because different trucks have them located in different places. The control cables from your control panel will go straight to it because the cables are what opens and closes the ports. Check and make sure the cables are on properly and switching. If all is well on all of the aforementioned items then it's got to be the vacuum module, though I have never heard of one going out. However, I haven't heard ever thing but I am strictly ' FORD' and always have been and always will be! gillight

How long do you leave your battery cables unhooked to reset an engine control modual on a 93 Ford f-250 diesel?

I usually wait 10 minutes. That is the amount of time it takes to clear "check engine codes" on a gas truck.
Haven't heard of ECM needing anything different.
